- July 9, 2010: Dr. Kalueff has been selected to attend a highly selective 150-person "think-tank" style 2010 Annual National Academies Keck Futures Initiative (NAKFI) conference, "Seeing the Future with Imaging Science".
- June 5-11, 2010: Dr. Kalueff is lecturing at RIKEN Institute, Tokyo University of Agriculture, and Matsushiuma Molecular Biology Summer Symposium in Japan on his lab's recent research with zebrafish as models of brain disorders
- June 2010: Our paper reporting LSD effects on zebrafish is now "in press" with Behavioral Brain Research. This is the first study examining the effects of LSD on zebrafish.
- June 2010: Our paper on modeling zebrafish epilepsy is now "in press" with Brain Research. This is the first paper validating adult zebrafish models of experimental epilepsy.
- Congratulations to Brett Bartels and Julia Tan for their acceptance at Tulane Medical School and the University of South Alabama Medical School, respectively.
- Congratulations to Keith Wong, John Chung and David Tien, who successfully defended their master's thesis.
- Congratulations to Brett Bartels and Salem Elkhayat, who have been awarded the Student Crest Award - a prestigious Tulane University student award for leadership, scholarship and community service.
- Congratulations to Jonathan Cachat on his Honorable Mention of the NSF Graduate Fellowship Award.
- Congratulations to Jason Goodspeed for his acceptance to Ohio State University Graduate Program.
- Congratulations to David Tien, who was awarded the Tulane 34 Award, awarded annually to graduates who have distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate life at Tulane by their leadership, service, and academic excellence. The award is one of the most coveted university-wide honors bestowed upon students.
- Congratulations to Adam Stewart, who was accepted to the University of Illinois at Chicago's Graduate Program in Bioengineering.
- April 24-28, 2010. Lab Students (K. Wong, B. Bartels, J. Tan and D. Tien) will be presenting the lab research at Experimentail Biology 2010 conference in Anaheim, CA.
- Congratulations to Anna Tien and Sopan Mohnot, the lab alumnae, who were elected Co-Presidents of Tulane Neuroscience Association (TUNA). Thanks David Tien, our lab member, for his excellent work as TUNA past President.
- Congratulations to Sudipta Roy, MD, who has received an internship position in Family Medicine.
- Congratulations to Keith Wong, who was awarded Tulane Health Science Research Day Specialty Award (sponsored by the Tulane-Xavier Center for Bioenvironmental Research) on his poster on modeling epilepsy in zebrafish, presented March 4 at Tulane Research Day.
- Congratulations to Ferdous Kadri, who has been accepted to LSU MD/PhD Program.

- June, 6-8 2010. Dr. Kalueff will be lecturing at the 10th Spring Symposium of the Molecular Biology Society of Japan (Matsushima, Japan).
- May 2010. Dr. Kalueff will be chairing the 14th International 'Stress and Behavior' Conference (St. Petersburg, Russia).
- April 2010. Our lab hosts exchange visit from AR Tech and behavioral mini-symposium.
- March 7, 2010. The lab participates in 2010 Tulane University Neuroscience Program retreat.
- March 4, 2010 - An absolute lab record: 4 lab members were noticed in the lab working at 3.30 a.m.
- March 4-8, 2010. The lab visits the Addiction symposium in San Antonio, TX. Congratulations to Adam Stewart who recieved the travel award.
- March 3, 2010. The lab participates in Tulane Health Sciences Research Days.
- March 2, 2010. Dr. Kalueff has been awarded the University Senate's Committee on Research COR grant.

- December 14, 2009. The lab was awarded LA Board of Reagents PFUND grant to support our research.
- November 24, 2009. Congratulations to Julia Tan, who was awarded Newcomb Fellows student travel grant.
- Novemember 20, 2009. Dr Kalueff was awarded a Newcomb Fellows Grant from Newcomb College Institute

- November 3, 2009. Congratulations to three lab's undergraduate students - David Tien, Brett Bartels and Julia Tan, who were awarded prestigious Tulane University's Lurcy Awards to support their research in our lab.
- October 26, 2009. Congratulations to Julia Tan and Brett Bartels, lab members recently awarded TU Provost's Scholarly and Artistic Engagement Grant.
- October 16, 2009. Dr. Kalueff gave a special lecture on zebrafish models in biological psychiatry at the opening session of the 35th Science and Technology Congress (Thailand, Bangkok).
- October 5, 2009. Congratulations to Chris Sucui and Mike Rosenberg, the Lab members recently accepted to Tulane Medical School.
- October 4, 2009. In the effort to foster faculty-undergraduate student interactions, the lab hosted an informal mini-symposium, sponsored by the University and Tulane University Neuroscience Association. Press Release.
- October 4, Dr. Kalueff received Louisiana Board of Regents' TGEF award
- Dr. Kalueff has been named a Newcomb Fellow of the Newcomb College of Tulane University.
- Our lab became part of Tulane Interdisciplinary PhD program in aging studies, and a member of Tulane University Center for Aging.
- Marco Elegante and Salem Elkhayat have been accepted to Tulane Neuroscience Masters Program.
